Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive

OK Friends--If you don’t read anything in this blog, please read this!
November 17th -21st The Brown Box is hosting a Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive. For every 2 canned goods you bring into the store you will receive 25% off an item. If you bring 4 canned goods you will receive 25% off two items--bring 8 cans and you will receive 25 % off 4 items, etc. All the food that is gathered will go to feed hungry families this Thanksgiving Season. Be thankful for what God has given you and give to others! 

Cinda B's Birthday Party!

Haunted House Of Fun!

Tonight the boys and I made a haunted house.  I got the idea off one of my favorite sites Tracy Porter!  She made hers from scratch...I, on the other hand, bought one that was already put together and the boys just decorated it.  Either way it was loads of fun and the boys thought it was cool.  They have been making Chirstmas gingerbread houses with their nana, since they can remember....so this was a cool twist on that loved tradition.  So friends...you still have a week left...go buy yourself a gingerbread haunted house and get into the spooky spirit!!!

Stylish and Warm!

Scarves can add such pizzazz to an outfit...not to mention a little warmth!  We have some delicious scarves that I don't think you will be able to turn down!  They can also make an excellent gift for some special friend during the holidays!

Fall Break Fun!

Ty and I took the boys to the city over fall break...to the Lego store. We had a great time, even when the whining began. Before we went into the mall their was a man holding up a sign asking for money...I reached in my purse and gave the man $20. It was a great time to talk to the boys about giving and doing god's work here on earth. Ty and I really enjoy our boys...they are our blessings!

The Friday of fall break Wyatt and I woke up and planned on having a day of just us, but Ty and Winston came home early from boy scout camp. Since they came home early, we decided to let them go with us to paint pottery. It was a great activity to do together. Wyatt and Ty painted a horse, of course. Winston painted a jack-o-lantern candy dish and I painted a cross. It was a great way to spend the afternoon as a family. I can't wait to see out masterpieces after they fire them!!!
